COUNTY SENIOR XCountry and Juvenile B championships
This sunday Nov 3 the County Senior Championships and Juvenile B championships will take place in the Castle Park, Kilkenny – the lovely grassland that sits behind the Castle. Entrance is from the parade. The B Championships start at 11am with the Seniors at noon.

For the Senior Xcountry: Athletes must be registered and must be 17 years or over on the 31st December in the competition year.
The distances are as follows:

For the Juvenile B championships the distances are:
u8 – 200m
u10 – 600m
u12 – 1000m
u14 – 1500m
u16 – 2000m

In the year of competition, all individual medallists (1st, 2nd and 3rd) and the first team medallists in any age in any age of the ‘A’ County Championships will be ineligible for the ‘B’ Championship.
It is 3 to score in all categories.
Medals will be awarded to:
(i) the scoring members of the first three teams
(ii) the first three individuals in each category.
(iii) the first ten runners home at under 8
