Thyestes Chase winning Jockey Danny Mullins says that his cousin David Mullins should be fully fit to return to action in time for the Cheltenham Festival.
David has been out since October when he sustained injuries following a fall in Thurles, and speaking to KCLR, Danny says that his cousin’s return will be most welcoming.
He said “I would imagine he will have no problem been back in action for Cheltenham and it will be great to have him back, he will be coming in and we will be competing with each other for rides, but to have that bit of of competitiveness between us is good, it keeps everyone on their toes and means we have to just perform at a higher level and that’s what you want”.
