Ollie O’Neill says that his son Darren will have to be at his best if he is to defeat Johnjoe McDonagh and qualify for another Heavyweight Final.

The Semi-Final fight takes place tomorrow night(Friday) and Speaking to KCLR, Ollie says that Darren’s opponent has improved a lot.

“We have crossed paths before. We have beaten him on a narrow enough margin two years ago, but he is after improving a quare lot this chap and he had a great win last night over Kivi Afansev of Smithfield a Ukraine boxer, a very very good contest so we have to be at our best to get a decision there”
