With another month behind us, the inter-county season done and dusted and a wealth of club action getting underway, it’s time to open the nominations for the July round of the David Buggy Motors Kilkenny Sport Star Award.
Congratulations again to Mullinavat’s senior footballers, crowned June winners of our monthly award. This week coming we’ll be digging in to the club hurling and camogie championships, in more detail but if you’ve seen someone deserving of a nomination from any sporting background over the month of July, then we’d love to hear from you.
Was it someone who caught your eye during the All-Ireland build-up, or on the track as local athletics clubs built up to the nationals? Is it an individual or club you think are being overlooked for the work they’re doing? Now is your chance to nominate an individual or team for their efforts on or off the field of play. Submit yours before midnight this coming Sunday 6 August and we’ll be announcing the winner on Tuesday morning (8 August).
