Kilkenny Athletics County Board has published details of this Sunday’s County intermediate and B uneven Cross Country event.
All roads for local runners lead to The Rectory in Graiguenamanagh for an 11.30 am start with the juveniles getting things underway followed by the Intermediate competitions from 12.30 pm.
There’s a men’s 8k race and a ladies’ 3k race penciled in and U7 up to U15 (2021 ages)
- U7 – 200m
- U9 – 400m
- U11 – 800m
- U13 – 1000m
- U15 – 1500m
The county board says if you were in the top three from U10 upwards in the Cross Country in Ballycurran or Castlecomer, or were on a winning team from u10 upwards, you are ineligible to run
On the day, medals will be awarded to:
- The scoring members of the first three teams
- The first three individuals in each category.
- The first ten runners home at U7 age groups.
