Dicksboro manager Donal Carroll has suggested the merger of Dicksboro’s separate strands into one club has helped build a buzz for all games.
Sunday last saw Dicksboro set up a provincial final date with defending club All-Ireland champions Oulart The Ballagh following 0-10 to 0-08 victory over Dublin’s St. Judes.
The Kilkenny champions are treating it as a game with nothing to lose and say the atmosphere on the ground has been a huge help.
“It’ll be great, it’s only a couple of years ago, there was great excitement when we won the first county (final)” said Donal.
“Now we’re in the opportunity to win the Leinster (final), there was around 1,000 tickets sold, there’s a great buzz around the place, great numbers”.
“We amalgamated, just did the one club thing only at our AGM this year so there’s a great spirit in the place”.
