From the jaws of defeat, Dicksboro snatched a thrilling victory over James Stephens in Nowlan Park on Sunday afternoon and with it, took bragging rights with another derby win over their city rivals.
The Village looked on course for a win heading into the final few minutes before an Ollie Walsh goal gave Dicksboro a glimmer of hope and they made every second of injury time count with late points from Paul O’Flynn and Oisin Gough pushing them over the line for a 1-15 to 1-13 victory.
