Dicksboro manager Mark Dowling says their opening two victories in the Kilkenny Senior Hurling League over Ballyhale Shamrocks and James Stephens will count for nothing unless they perform in the Championship.
Speaking to KCLR, Mark says they are not getting carried away despite their great start to the League…..
“Wins do give you confidence and they promote a buy in from the players into what we are doing in training and that, so that all helps and it keeps the tails up I suppose going into the next match”
“In relation to going forward, I suppose it’s a league match and that we take it on those terms”
“At the end of the year, people probably won’t remember the last two victories and possibly rightly so if we don’t perform in the Championship but for the moment, look for this half of the season we are delighted to where we are yeah”
