Dicksboro taking nothing for granted ahead of big game with James Stephens

Dicksboro Senior Hurler Kevin Kenny says that James Stephens will be mad to gain revenge on them after last years County Final result.

Speaking to KCLR ahead of Friday nights clash, Kevin says that any of the teams in Kilkenny can defeat one another.

“We played them (James Stephens) there in a Byrne Cup match there recently and we were close enough to a full team and they beat us out the gate so they are mad to get at us.

“Hopefully now we can do the same as we did in the County Final last year and try and beat them again.

“There’s never an easy game, sure it’s kind of like going back to the first set of League games, you just never know what’s going to happen like.

“Anyone could beat anyone so you kind of take nothing for granted,” he said.

The sides meet Friday at 7.15pm in Nowlan Park
