This month’s winner of the award is Kirsty Maher from Dicksboro Camogie.
Kirsty received a huge amount of nominations for the award following her heroics in the recent Leinster final against Wexford’s Oulart The Ballagh.
Although Dicksboro lost the game, Kirsty was the player of the match and pulled off some outstanding saves on the day, and teammates and supporters have lauded her goalkeeping skills.
Those who nominated Kirsty say she is an inspiration to her teammates and younger members of the hurling and camogie teams.
