Club doctors have written a 100-point letter to the Premier League highlighting their concerns about a return to play.

The UK government said this evening they are working on a plan to resume sport behind closed doors as soon as possible.

Clubs are due to vote on the Premier League’s ‘Project Restart’ proposals on Friday. A 14-6 majority is needed to pass a motion – and that is how the teams are currently split on the proposed plans to play at neutral grounds.

Doctors have outlined 10 different areas of risk around a return to play with UK government medical specialists due to brief players and managers next Monday.

While players such as Sergio Aguero and Manuel Lanzini have expressed their concerns in recent times.
