New York

This Thursday night from 8pm on KCLR is the Double Double Camogie Quiz – live on air and at venues in every parish across the county.

Where in previous years ‘The Drive For Liam’ quiz has helped out the Kilkenny senior hurlers, this year, the ‘Double Double Camogie Quiz’ is raising much needed funds and support for Kilkenny’s senior camogie stars as they bid to defend their All-Ireland crown.

This is your chance to get behind the team, show your support and have a bit of craic in the process.

Prizes on the night include tickets to the All-Ireland Final, accommodation and banquet tickets with tables of four in selected venues costing just €20. A full list of venues is available at kilkennycamogie.com.

John Walsh is the quizmaster and we’re on air from 8pm.

Of course, you can’t have a quiz on a night out without a raffle and there’s some top prizes this year.

  • First prize: Celebrate St. Patrick’s day in NYC 3 Nights – Flying Aer Lingus 16th March – back 19th / Landing 20th March. Staying in the Wyndham New Yorker in Midtown Manhattan in association with Marble City travel
  • Second prize: Walker 40″ full HD LED TV courtesy of Electrocity
  • Third prize: a voucher for accommodation at the Academy Plaza Hotel in Dublin courtesy of Joe and Julie Comerford
  • Fourth prize: €100 voucher from Philip Ireland Tyres Ltd

Raffle tickets will cost you €2 a piece or three for €5.
