Carlow Inter-League Soccer joint manager Paul Dowling says that there is no favoritism when it comes to picking the Team.
Paul has been managing Hanover Harps in recent years and speaking ahead of Sundays Oscar Traynor Final against Kilkenny, he says himself and joint manager Eddie Shaw have always picked the team strictly on it’s merits.
“Don’t know whether it’s a personality thing that the boys came in and commit to us, but they are definitely interested in training, and like the first thing I said when myself and Eddie take over no is there will be no favoritism regardless.
“I won’t be picking lads from Hanover because they play for my club, it will be done fair and I have done that throughout from the very first day and anybody who says different is a liar.
“You train hard, you play, you get in, I don’t think I have picked the same team every single game genuinely so that’s a testament to the squad we have,” he said.
