Derek Lyng’s first Allianz Hurling League side was named on Friday night with a strong lineup expected to start.
2022’s young player of the year Mikey Butler partners Huw Lawlor and Dicksboro’s Niall Rowe in defence with Cillian Buckley, Pádraig Walsh and Walter Walsh all named. Billy Drennan, Martin Keoghan and Billy Ryan lead the forward line.
In the absence of Shamrocks’ Eoin Cody (who scored 1-12 for SETU Carlow mid-week), Cillian Buckley will captain the side. There is one inclusion for the reigning club All-Ireland champions with Darragh Corcoran named to the bench.
