Ballinkillen Senior Hurling Manager Tommy Comerford says that dual players should be accommodated as best as possible.
Speaking to KCLR ahead of Saturday afternoon’s re-arranged Senior Hurling Championship Semi-Final clash against St. Mullins, Tommy says that dual players should be allowed to enjoy both sports without any interference.
He said “There is something there about player welfare and that we just have to that if players are playing both sports that we try to ask and accommodate them for the best of both sports and that both sports can grow in Carlow and in Kilkenny that we are not asking too much out of players and let them enjoy it as they are playing both sports”.
