Mount Leinster Rangers senior hurler Eddie Coady says that County Final day rekindles the expectations of the parish every year you are in it.
Speaking to KCLR ahead of Sunday’s clash with St. Mullins, Eddie says they have a shortened build-up to this years final having had the Semi-Final replay last Sunday.
“We have a reasonably short run-in due to the drawn game this year I guess so we don’t have too much time to sit back and enjoy the occasion of actually getting there. You have to push on straight away from last Sunday. For sure yeah, we have been in a few of them down through the years, but I think County Finals no matter when your in them, they bring their own sense of wanting to win on the day, that the whole expectation of ourselves and of the parish is rekindled every year your in it”
