Eire Og and Carlow Footballer Sean Gannon says promotion being re-added to this years club championships is being welcomed by the clubs across the county.
It had been left out however there will be promotion and there is no relegation.
Sean says while it’s great to be getting back playing, one case of Covid-19 can bring the club to a halt:
“Promotion is back, there’s going to be promotion but no relegation so that gives everyone something to play for”.
He said “It’s brilliant to just get back out and playing, obviously you have to take it week by week, you seen James Stephens (club) had a case (covid-19) there recently and they’re kind of on lockdown now again so we have to be very careful and adhere to all the guidelines that are in place from the GAA and the HSE and just to make sure we have football and hurling come August and September”.
