Sometimes you have to wonder what in the “namajaysus” would possess you to be a referee!

I’m no different than the next club Manager when it comes to letting the few f**ks at a referee here and there but I am the first person to go up and have a laugh with them when the dust settles and most referees are like that too because guess what?

They are human!

This year Sean Cleere from the O’Loughlin Gaels club will referee the All Ireland Minor Hurling Final between Cork and Galway.

Sean started refereeing 18 years ago and now at long last he has been rewarded.

I spoke to Sean just after he got the good news and you can listen back to what is a very interesting conversation below.
