Kilkenny Minor Hurling selector Adrian Finan says they will need to improve to defeat Offaly in this weekends Leinster Minor Hurling Semi-Final, despite recording a resounding 35 point victory over Westmeath on Saturday.
Speaking to KCLR , Adrian says their is definite room for improvement as the Midlanders will provide a significant test.
“They were aspects of the performance the other day that were good and they were obviously aspects of it maybe that we will need to improve on certainly going forward.
“The lads certainly performed very well in the 2nd half in particular and we are looking forward now to a significant game against Offaly next weekend.
“We got a blistering start to the 2nd half and we scored a couple of goals very quickly and I think that probably gave our lads great confidence and it shattered the confidence of Westmeath obviously, but we know there is lots of room for improvement at the same time,” he said.
