Kilkenny Senior Hurler Conor Fogarty says yesterday’s National League victory was a testament to how well the young players performed throughout the National League.
Speaking to KCLR after yesterday’s League Final victory against Tipperary, Conor says that League titles don’t come by too easily.
“The result is the big thing at the end of the day, that’s all that matters.
“National Leagues, they don’t come buy too easily, it’s a long time since we were in one and we really really wanted to win that there, and we’re delighted with the result.
“There are great young lads and they always were like even coming up through the ranks like, we know the quality of them.
“It’s a testament to them there for the hurling that they have done throughout the League campaign so far, Richie Leahy and these lads and they just get on with it and fair play to them, they are great young lads and we have great confidence in them, but we are definitely after coming together and it’s great to see,” he concluded.
