Forget about every other competition this year, as the 39th Annual Lisdowney Wind Farm U-13 Hurling Sevens 2021 is going ahead!

The 24th of July 2021 will see the welcome return of the renowned Lisdowney U13, 7 aside tournament for the 39th year in the history of the tournament.

The Lisdowney 7s has been a stepping stone for many great names over the years. Names such as DJ Carey, Henry Shefflin, T J Reid and Tommy Walsh to mention but a few have graced the tournament as have over 90% of the current Kilkenny senior team.

The seven aside game is a challenge for both players and mentors with speed, skill and accuracy the main ingredients required for success in the competition.

The first round matches will take place on the 24th July and finals will take place on 25th July. Those attending are asked to observe HSE Covid 19 guidelines.

The tournament will be hosted on a reduced scale this year, with 16 teams from the North of the county participating. They do hope to be able to accommodate all 32 teams next year, though.
