Former Eire Og and Carlow Senior Football Goalkeeper John Kearns that Carlow can put home advantage to good use against Longford in Sunday’s All-Ireland Qualifier.
Speaking to KCLR, John says having the extra week to put the Meath game out of their system is a major help.
He said “They have had their two weeks now to put the Meath game out of their system as such and just concentrate on their next game”.
“I used to love playing up in the grounds, a home game in the Championship, when you have kind of a good crowd there too, it’s a great feeling to have that home support there for you so hopefully that will help do the business on Sunday”.
