Former Irish Olympian Darren O’Neill says his cartilage injury is progressing having been not able to train for a lengthy period.

Speaking to KCLR on Saturday Scoreline, Darren outlines how his injury is progressing.

He said “The cartilage had been worn away in my hand and I had fragments of bone floating about there after just numerous fractures and breaks and whatever else so I had to get the fragments removed last year and scraped out a bit”.

“It’s still not perfect, but it’s a lot better than what it was and I am glad to be back doing a bit of training and keeping busy”
