It marks a good few months for the Landowne player who has been recently been called up to the Leinster Development squad.
The team has a much-changed look from last year’s campaign. Head coach Richie Murphy has only named four players from last year’s campaign in his starting XV. Speaking ahead of the game Murphy was excited;
“We are excited about the challenges ahead, starting with the visit of Wales to Musgrave Park under Friday night lights. The prospect of returning to Cork and playing in front of a big crowd, including family and friends, is a really exciting one for the players and the management team.”
