Former Kilkenny Senior Hurler John Power says that Galway Manager Micheál Donoghue will be determined to win further All-Irelands and prove that Galway are a great team.
Speaking to KCLR ahead of Sunday’s Leinster Final, John says Galway’s victory against Kilkenny in last weeks Leinster Under-21 Championship is a reason for concern.
“They are good Champions and are trying to win back to back titles to divide them from an ordinary once off win.
“He (Michael) spoke to them after Christmas, I heard through the Media there and he wanted them to be a great team and go on and win multiple All-Irelands.
“They are a big strong side, they are hard to hurl against.
“I suppose the Under-21s, they out-hurled us in a lot of positions so you would have reason for concern going up,” he said.
