Former Kilkenny hurler Adrian Ronan says no one likes to have to face Kilkenny despite producing indifferent performances in recent times.
Kilkenny are preparing for the next round of the All Ireland Hurling Qualifiers against Waterford on Saturday evening in Semple Stadium at 7pm.
Speakiing to KCLR, Adrian says despite the Kilkenny performances lately, there are grounds for optimism…..
“It’s not the strength in depth that people might like to have from years ago, but their is still people getting stronger everyday we get out”
“We are getting slowly getting better and we have had serious injuries, Michael Fennelly and Padraig Walsh and we are still in the qualifiers and we don’t have a god given right to win every Championship match”
“I still think Waterford, they don’t anyone want to play us at the end of the day and look as we know we have young lads coming, and the conveyor belt hopefully the Under-21s are in a Leinster Final now on Wednesday night sop hopefully the long-term prospects are good”
