Former Limerick Senior goalkeeper Joe Quaid doesn’t think that the Carlow and Limerick match on Saturday will be as one sided as one many as predicting.
Speaking to KCLR ahead of this weekends game, Joe says that Carlow are well equipped for the step-up in class.
“Look, it’s a massive step-up”
“The step-up from Christy Ring to Joe McDonagh was big but they handled it well and they ended up winning it”
“They were involved in some very competitive matches but look, Limerick have been playing the top teams, they are gone through a savage Munster campaign so you will have to say it might be a step too far to cause an upset, but I don’t think it will be the whitewash that some people might expect”
