The Six Nations Championship match between France and Scotland has been postponed.
It was scheduled to take place at the Stade de France in Paris this Sunday but was under threat after an outbreak of Covid-19 in the France squad amonst players and staff.
On Thursday morning an eleventh player tested positive for the virus leading to a cancellation of the squad’s training session.
The decision will be ratified by the Six Nations Council.
On Wednesday, six nations organisers had given the go-ahead for the game and the team had only resumed contact training on the same day with the FFR to conduct daily testing until match day.
Tournament organisers say they will announce a new fixture date “in due course”.
