Rásaíocht Con Éireann / Greyhound Racing Ireland is offering free admission tonight in Kilkenny Greyhound Stadium in an initiative called Ag Rásaíocht Le Chéile.
With the pandemic reducing the social outlets and opportunities for people to meet, Ag Rásaíocht Le Chéile or Racing Together in English is offering the public the chance to get out and meet people again in a safe environment. The event in particular aims to offer older people or those whose social interactions have been significantly curtailed in the last year and a half an enjoyable night out.
There will be a charge of just €2 for racecards with all proceeds from this going to a local charity. We will also be remembering friends lost while we have been apart during Covid – 19.
On the racing front, the highlight will be the semi finals of The €12,000 Deadly Kennels A2 525. The Karol Ramsbottom trained Lemon Yohan and the Murt Leahy trained Lemon Nicky will be expected to win their respective semi finals. 1st race as always gets underway at 7.30pm
