Freebooters joint manager James Kelly says they can take full advantage of the backlog of Evergreen’s congested fixture list especially after their 3-1 defeat to Highview Athletic on Thursday evening.
Speaking to KCLR, James says that Evergreen are showing signs of fatigue.
He said “It has happened to us over the years as well. Fatigue starts to creep in after playing so many games a week. They played last Friday, they played on Sunday so that definitely has to have had an effect on the team but that’s what squads are there”.
“I would say Gary (Maher – Evergreen Manager) will be rotating his squad every game for the next couple of weeks so that’s where your panel of players come in and all the training during the year, these are the lads you bring in and hopefully you can do the job as well” he said.
