The funeral arrangements for Irish rally star Craig Breen have been published ahead of his burial on Tuesday of this week.

Slieverue native Breen was killed during a pre-event test in Croatia this past week ahead of Rally Croatia where he was expected to start in the driver’s seat again for Hyundai Motorsport. Reports indicate he was involved in an off-road collision, Hyundai confirming that co-driver James Fulton was unharmed in the accident.

He was performing at the top of his game and reminding us all of the incredible talent he possessed. That podium meant a lot ot us as a team, but you could see just how much it meant to him”.

“Craig had a passion for rallying that ran deep. He was more than just a driver, he was a true lover of the sport.”
