Graigue-Ballycallan Chairman Dave O’Neill says the GAA fixture schedule that is in place is undermining the club structure.
Speaking to KCLR, Dave says that drastic changes need to be made to benefit the clubs.
He said “At the end of the day, it all starts in the clubs and unfortunately for the last two years a new system is in place which is undermining the club structure so you are facing into now September, October, match on match on match, three months of the year which lads are lying on idle, it’s something that’s going to come from the top, it can’t come from the clubs, the clubs are speaking out at the moment”.
