Gaelcholaiste Cheatharlach is aiming to bring home some silverware on Thursday when their U19 boy’s team takes on the C All Ireland Schools final.
They’re up against Pobailscoil Chorca Dhuibhne (Dingle, Kerry) in the game which takes place in the national basketball arena, that gets underway at 2.15 pm.
In December, the U19’s defeated Wilson Hospital in the semi-finals.
It’s been a busy few months for the local school on the basketball front, on Sunday last the U19 boy’s side narrowly lost out in the final seconds of extra time against Roscrea CC.
48-47 was the final score there.
The side also defeated Clonmel 51-41 in the South East League Final.
