Gorey Rangers Soccer manager Ben Casserly says they are going to have to step up to the plate if they are to knock out Crettyard United in Sunday’s Leinster Junior after having knocked out Freebooters in last Sunday’s FAI Junior Cup.
Speaking to KCLR, Ben says they are fairly confident they can reproduce last Sunday’s exploits…..
“I think so. Like, the game last Sunday was for all intent and purposes was a very very good game of football between two very good football teams and we just shaded it in the end, but when it comes to Crettyard again we are just going to have to step up to the plate again”
“Like, they are a very good side themselves Crettyard, I know all about them, so yeah we are going to have to reproduce a really good performance to achieve the same kind of targets now this Sunday afternoon, but we are fairly confident in ourselves going into the game either way”
