Graigue-Ballycallan Senior Hurling Manager Declan Browne is hoping that they don’t switch off despite consolidating their Senior status since coming up from Intermediate last year.
Speaking to KCLR ahead of Sunday afternoon’s First Round Senior Championship clash against Mullinavat, Declan says their is more potential within the squad than just survival.
He said “The pressure is off, but I would be also hoping that our lads just don’t switch off either now that you are safe, you still need to go out and give it your all and try to get to a Quarter-Final too and we would be very conscious of that too”.
“If our lads turn up who knows but I would hope that we would be falling into the trap of just been safe and turning up and making up the numbers, that’s not what we are about so hopefully it will work out for us”.
