Graigue-Ballycallan Intermediate Hurling Selector Declan Browne says their clash with neighbors Tullaroan in round 3 of the Intermediate League on Saturday evening is simply just another game.
Speaking to KCLR, Declan says their main concern will be trying to close the gap that exists between themselves and their opponents.
“Rivalries are rivalries and sometimes they do take on a life of their own, but at the end of the day, it is only another hurling match.
“All through the years, 30, 40 years ago counts for nothing so it just all depends on whatever form the two teams bring on Saturday night and see where it goes.
“Tullaroan are probably favorites every year to win the Championship and we haven’t beaten them in the past three years.
“It’s up to ourselves to try and sort that out but we have a bit to go to catch up to where they are but we will give it our best,” he said.
