Evergreen captain Niall Andrews says they’re a growing club which has helped them compete for top honours.
They face Sheriff YC in the FAI Junior Cup Final on Saturday at 6 pm in the Aviva Stadium.
He says the club facilities have expanded hugely throughout his playing career….
“I joined Evergreen and we didn’t have a pitch, we didn’t have this facility so I have been involved all the time when it’s been growing and we are lucky enough playing with the A Team with Evergreen that we just have to kind of turn up and perform, where all this is laid on for us so it’s all the hard work that goes on behind”
“You look at this every morning on Saturday morning, the amount of kids that are out here”
“The club is growing, it’s a growing club and it’s kind of where we want to be as a club is challenging for these titles, it’s where we think we should be but like Packie was saying, it doesn’t come around every year, it’s a chance that you have to take, it’s not something that comes around every year so hopefully we can do the business”
