Hanover Harps manager Paul Dowling believes they will make the breakthrough and win the Premier Division despite having gone close on several occasions.

Hanover Harps finished a close 3rd to Crettyard United and New Oaks in the race for the Premier Division title, and Speaking to KCLR ahead of Saturday evenings Premier Cup Final against New Oak Boys, Paul says they have the squad to eventually end their league hoodoo…..

“I have never seen a team go out to Crettyard and dominate them the way they did”

“Crettyard came out of the blocks really good and after 15 minutes, they were well on top, could have scored once, but we saw them make a couple of changes tactically and really for the rest game they just dominated completely and a couple of Crettyard lads said it to me but we will keep going on that one”

“I believe we are going to do it some day, they have a really really strong squad and we just have to focus on the Cup Final now, take the Summer off relax and try and get things going again for next year”
