Hanover Harps manager Paul Dowling says that Sheriff will know what to expect from them when they clash in Sunday’s Leinster Senior Cup tie.
Speaking to KCLR, Paul says they gave the Dublin Club a fright when they played them a few years ago.
“It’s always a great game, because they probably wouldn’t rate us as a team or any team in Carlow being honest”, says Dowling.
“We will have a right go. We played them three or four years ago up there, and we should have been a couple of goals up before they scored/”
“They caught us wrong from a Sheriff corner”, he says about taht game in particular.
“It was a very well-worked goal and we just have to switch out from those kind of things because they are the kind of things that teams get if they are coached properly.”
“They are all seasoned professionals with regards of playing soccer at that level and you will not get a bad Sheriff team being honest and if we got a result in the game Sunday, it would be massive.”
