The GAA says a decision on the use of Hawkeye in this Sunday’s All-Ireland hurling final between Limerick and Kilkenny will be made later this week.
Tests will take place before a final decision. The GAA has received a full report from Hawkeye on the issue.
It comes after issues emerged with the technology during last Saturday’s All-Ireland football semi-final between Galway and Derry. There were also issues occuring in the All Ireland semi-final between Limerick and the Leinster hurling final.
Is there a problem with HawkEye? Shane Walsh's free late in the half was deemed wide by the technology at Croke Park, but the replay would suggest otherwise

Many Kilkenny fans will cast their mind back to 2014, Kilkenny versus Tipperary. one of the greatest All Ireland finals of All Time. Bubbles O’Dywer thought he had snatched the win for The Premier county with the last puck of the ball. Tip fans went wild until Hawkeye correctly ruled that it was in fact not a score, thus forcing the game to a replay. A replay that Kilkenny won.
