Kilkenny Rugby Club Head Coach Packie Henebry says promotion is so important as they go in search of a quick return to Division 1 of the Leinster League.
Speaking to KCLR ahead of Sunday’s trip to Condalkin, Packie says they have aspirations to play at the very top.
“We find promotion very important, some clubs don’t and it will be back to Saturday Rugby if we do get promoted back to Saturday games.
“A lot of clubs don’t like playing on Saturday’s, it doesn’t suit for one reason or another, but we have been up there, we know what it’s like.
“I don’t really think it makes a difference personally myself but just we would like to be playing at the top, playing in Division 1A, that’s where everybody should be aspiring to play and we are no different,” he said.
