Kilkenny and Carlow will be in All-Ireland camogie action at opposite ends of the spectrum this weekend.
On the underage side, Carlow can look forward to big one in Newbridge this coming Sunday as their Brian Lawler’s side contest the Tesco All-Ireland U16B Championship semi-finals wth Laois providing the opposition.
Throw-in at Kildare GAA’s centre of excellence in Newbridge is 12.30pm and you can get your tickets here.
For Kilkenny, it’s another trip to Croke Park where an All-Ireland senior camogie championship semi-final awaits against top rivals and defending champions Galway.
Both sides produced a nail-biter in Kenny Park when they met in the final round of group games at the beginning of the month, Galway rescuing a late draw to ensure the most direct route to the semi-finals, leaving Kilkenny to face Dublin this past weekend.
While Adrian O’Sullivan’s side took their chances and built up an early lead, Kilkenny would net 2-24, a score that any side would be proud of producing in a championship fixture.
Galway will have had the extra week to breathe but as we’ve heard on this week’s Camán Caint podcast, Kilkenny will be ready for the occasion.
You can get your All-Ireland semi-final tickets here with the lower Hogan Stand open in Croke Park for the game and tickets priced up to €15.
