Kilkenny’s Mullinavat and Carlow’s Clonmore are making sure that home advantage counts for something this weather as both sides progressed to their Leinster club football championship semi-finals at the weekend.
Better again, having had home advantage at John Locke Park and Netwatch Cullen Park for the first round and quarter-final games, the clubs will enjoy home advantage once more for the semi-finals later this month.
Kilkenny senior champions Mullinavat overcame Bracknagh in Callan two weeks ago, following up that win with a strong showing against Shandonagh of Westmeath on Saturday afternoon at the same grounds to set up a provincial intermediate semi-final against Fethard St. Mogues on Saturday 19 November.
For Clonmore, they’ve used Netwatch Cullen Park to their advantage in seeing off Grattan Óg of Longford and Staffan of Kildare this past Saturday and can now look forward to using the Carlow county grounds again on 19 November with the visit of Meath junior champions Castletown.
We’ll have coverage of both games here on KCLR and Scoreline.ie when the time comes, but in the meantime, here’s confirmation of the fixtures.
