Mount Leinster Rangers man Paul Coady has set up a fundraiser to raise much needed funds for The Irish Cancer Society.
The top hurlers in many counties throughout Ireland have kindly donated one of their own jerseys. Each jersey has been signed by the player who is donating it. In total there is 16 jerseys to be won including the Kilkenny jersey signed by Padraig Walsh and Carlows signed by Paul Coady himself.
Unfortunately, the Irish Cancer Society must raise over €20 million every year to continue to provide all its services. Irish Cancer Society relies heavily on fundraising events such as Daffodil Day which usually raises €4 million. This year Daffodil day was cancelled, and as a result the Irish Cancer Society lost out on some much needed donations.
