Carlow Senior Hurling Manager Colm Bonnar says he is not overly concerned despite a lack of scoring rate throughout their 5 group games in the National League in which they only averaged 12 points per game.
Speaking to KCLR as Carlow put their Division One hopes on the line in Sunday’s relegation decider against Westmeath, Colm says it was always going to be difficult for their forwards against the Country’s top defenders.
“We have some very talented younger players coming up and we still have a very very formidable forward line. It’s just we haven’t been using the ball as well as we should of and I suppose that’s the pressure of been up against the best defenders in the country and they don’t give you much time on the ball, but no I am not overly concerned”
