The weekend saw Kilkenny’s camogie seniors lose out on a place in this year’s league final after they drew 1-08 apiece with Cork.
Changes to this year’s league structure saw the rebels book their place in the decider through scoring difference.
They will now face either Tipperary or Galway in the final on April 9th.
Manager Brian Dowling was left frustrated over the format changes to this year’s league.
“I just don’t understand why there are not extra knockout games, everyone wants games, Cork, Galway are the same,” said Brian.
“That’s their decision, Id like the reasoning for it, Cork has four weeks off now before they play in a league cup final, it’s not as if it has to be on next week or whatever”.
“I don’t know what the reasoning for it is, the more games the better really” he added.
