Tullow Ladies Rugby Player Clare Nolan says that the Ireland Ladies Rugby Team will need to be more clued in ahead of tonights(Thursday) Ladies Rugby World Cup clash against France.
Ireland need a win to progress to the Semi-Final, and Clare says they can in no way afford the mistakes and lapses that have happened in their two games.
“We just weren’t clinical enough (against Japan). We spent far too much time in our own half and that’s an awful lot of pressure. Like credit to our defense and we did so well but momentary lapses that is what is going to cost us in the big games, and New Zealand, England.
“France are not going to be lenient with us and they will punish us for that so we really need to be a lot more clued in.
“There was a lot of changes in the team and I think just from the start we need to be a lot more clued in and be quicker,” says Nolan.
Ireland will line out with a side that sees six changes from that which struggled to beat Japan.
Maz O’Reilly and Paula Fitzpatrick are among those recalled, as coach Tom Tierney named the same pack from that which beat France in the Six Nations in February.
Kick off in U-C-D is at 7.45.
