The Republic of Ireland under-21s have been given new dates for the remaining matches in their European Championship qualifying campaign which will be completed by November.
Before that new manager Jim Crawford will also get the chance to check out his squad in a friendly match against Slovenia on September 7th.
The away qualifier against Italy will go ahead on October 13th before the home game against Iceland on November 12th which is followed by the last group match away to Luxembourg five days later.
Ireland currently top the group with 16 points from 7 games. Italy are 3 points behind with 2 games in hand
Dates and venues are yet to be confirmed for next year’s finals in Hungary and Slovenia.
