IT Carlow have bowed out of the Sigerson Cup at the quarter finals stage.
They hosted the reigning champions DCU on Thursday night and both sides were neck and neck after fifteen minutes and traded scores remaining five points a piece at half time.
DCU put the boot down in the second half with IT Carlow only getting two points in the second-half.
The final score DCU 0-17, IT Carlow 0-07.
DCU now face Jordanstown in next Friday in Belfast.
