Incidentally, McGregor faces the possibility of six months away from the Octagon following his title win at UFC 194 at the weekend, pending the results of x-rays on his left wrist.
It had been confirmed earlier today in sports news that he will be given a civic reception on his return to Dublin from Las Vegas.
